Compliance & AML Policy

Our commitment to Jamaica's Proceeds of Crime Act and BGLC obligations. Last updated: 10 July 2026.

1. Our Commitment

Sha'Lure 11 Jamaica ("we", "us", "our") is authorised under Section 58(3) of the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Act and is committed to operating in full compliance with Jamaica's Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA) and all applicable anti-money laundering (AML) legislation. We take our legal and ethical obligations seriously and maintain robust procedures to prevent money laundering, terrorist financing, and fraud.

2. Know Your Customer (KYC) Procedure

We apply the following KYC measures: a) At Registration: All players must register with a valid email address, which is verified before the account is activated. Players must confirm they are 18 years of age or over. b) At Payout: Before any prize is paid out, the winner must provide valid government-issued photo identification. Acceptable forms of ID are: Jamaican National Identification Card, Passport, or Driver's Licence. Payment will not be released until identity has been verified. c) Enhanced Due Diligence: For prizes exceeding J$100,000, we may request additional documentation, including proof of address, before releasing payment.

3. Entry Fee Payments

All entry fees are collected via Lynk (NCB) or WiPay — regulated Jamaican payment platforms that apply their own identity and fraud checks. Each payment is linked to a unique reference that ties it to a specific player and round. We do not accept cash payments.

4. Suspicious Activity

If we identify suspicious or unusual activity — including but not limited to: multiple entries paid from unrelated accounts, prize claims from persons who cannot be identified, or patterns consistent with layering or placement — we reserve the right to: - Suspend the relevant account pending investigation - Withhold prize payments - Report the activity to the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) of Jamaica as required under POCA

5. Record Keeping

We retain the following records for a minimum of 5 years in compliance with POCA requirements: - Player registration and account details - Entry payment records and references - KYC documents (ID copies) obtained for winners - Prize payment records - Any suspicious activity reports filed

6. BGLC Reporting

Following every round in which a prize is paid, we submit a prize payment report to the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Commission (BGLC) within 5 working days. This report includes the winner's full name (first and last name) and parish, the round number, the prize amount, the date of payment, and confirmation of KYC completion. For privacy reasons, the Sha'Lure 11 Jamaica public website only publishes the winner's first name and parish (e.g. in a Past Winners section). The winner's last name is disclosed to the BGLC in the regulatory report but is never published publicly.

7. Training and Oversight

The Operator conducts regular reviews of this policy and ensures all persons involved in administering the competition are aware of their AML obligations.
